Hair Chronicles: Figuring It Out On My Own

Growing up with toxic parents I never really had the opportunity to ask my mom about hair textures and what was good for my hair. Looking back now I don’t think she even knew what was good for her hair. She constantly applied heat to it and used damaging hair glues. I moved out at 18 realizing that I didn’t know how to take care of my hair myself nor did I know what texture my hair was. How to Love Your Hair During the Winter

I think we all suffer from the horrible winter months when it comes to our hair. We get dry, brittle ends. I feel like I have to moisturize my hair several times a day, and every style doesn’t last!
